Monthly update

8 11 2007

Once again I have been putting off my monthly update. But here it is.

This has been quite the month. A lot of pieces in my life have evolved. The most powerful has been my relationship to deadlines. During this month I realized that because of my March 15th deadline to leave on my voyage I have felt more and more like I am running at full speed toward a cliff and trying to build an airplane at the same time. Looking forward and not fully focused on what I am building only adds undue stress and lack of creativity. I have viewed the deadline as just that…a date of success or failure, a kind of death.

I have not been enjoying the process, the journey. So I am changing the game. No more deadlines. Now the game is to see how quickly I can build my mobile income goal of $2055/mo. There is now no impeding failure, just success. This game is much more fun, creative and natural.

Wow, what a change this has made.

Here is my financial update:

I have not yet secured the $1000/mo gig and it looks like it won’t pan out till Feb ‘08 if at all. But I landed a 12 week gig setting up a marketing campaign for $615/week ($2460/mo). As this develops I will see if I can transition this to ongoing mobile income. We will see.

My current Recurring Mobile income is still the same as last month:

Recurring Passive Mobile $0
Recurring Mobile income $500
Mobile income $360

Total $860.00

Yet, my over all income has increased by over 60%!!!

Still $1195 mobile income/month more to go. But damn! I am having a lot more fun and seeing/creating a lot more opportunities.

I hope that something from my experiences this month will spur some thoughts or ideas for you and your journey

See ya soon,

Bill
