How it started
While visiting a friend in Madrid, Spain during July, 2006 Bill was sitting in the Plaza de Toros de las Ventas working on business concepts and waiting for his friend to get home. Then it dawned on him and he thought, “I need to do more of this…This is how I want to live. I want to travel where I want, when I want and have my business completely mobile so I can run it from anywhere” –
This journal starts just over one year from that day and is about his journey, his journey to become a Mobile World Citizen.
More about Bill Ayers
Bill’s first world traveling experience was the summer after graduating from High School at the age of 17. He was an exchange student for the summer to Germany. That is where he began journaling (he now has over 2000 written pages about his life). During this trip he also found his love for international travel and languages.
His second trip was one year later for a year to France again as an exchange student. As all of his friends went to college Bill worked for a year in factories and farm jobs to pay for his year trip.
Returning from France Bill went to the University of Florida and received a B.S. in Psychology. He also took lots of courses in French just for fun.
During the following years Bill dabbled in businesses and work. He also coached and played for the internationally successful Paintball team “Tippmann Effect”. The highlight of his Paintball career was when in 2002 Tippmann won the International Amateur Open of Paintball.
After his career in Paintball Bill focused solely on building and running businesses. In 2005 Bill sold his part of a business in Ohio and moved to San Francisco.
Currently Bill mentors start up and transition business owners. He also runs the San Francisco Mastermind group for Webeneurs and Entrepreneurs.
Bill’s major goals now consist of:
- Building concentrated mobile income and passive mobile income
- Traveling while blogging about his experiences
- Sharing his knowledge with others who want to be Mobile World Citizens
- Connecting with other Mobile World Citizens
